What is Weather Protection?

Our weather protection service is one of our most underrated services. It has so much potential to save you money over the years through preventative measures to protect your property’s exterior from the elements. We do this through the application of our specialist protective coating which we adapt based on the material of your property. This can be applied with a roller or a specialised pressure sprayer. Once the protective coating has been applied it will last for up to 25 years!

Brick tinting ~10 recently replaced red bricks on my terraced property to match the older surrounding area Very reliable with great communication, turned up on time and performed the work whilst I was away from home. Weather Protection FAQs

There are certain areas of the country where buildings are more susceptible to the elements. If you live near the coast, for example, salt from sea spray can build up on your brickwork or render and start to cause damage over time. Another example is if a certain wall of your property is facing a direction that is regularly hit by wind and rain. Over time, rainwater can begin to penetrate the brickwork or render and cause dampness and mould issues on the inside. Getting our team in to coat your bricks with a high-quality weather protectant will build a barrier to prevent water and salt penetration.

There are several factors that will determine which protectant we will use on a property. Some will be applied with a roller whilst others are sprayed on with a specialised pressure sprayer.

No. When the protective coat is first applied, it has a whitish look to it. But don’t panic! As it dries, the protectant will become clear.

The weather protection products we use penetrate the surface of your brickwork or render up to 12 millimetres and can last up to 25 years.
